The curtains are now open for the nth edition of the men's and women's football tournament of the coastal branch of ANEMCAM. This competition brings together for a long time the credible actors of this sector of activities under the coordination of the national association of microfinance institutions of Cameroon. SOFINA has set the tone of the first outing of these ladies by winning 6 goals against 0 against the sister EMF FIGEC. A performance that gives the aim to warn all our opponents along the competition that will go until December.
The first edition of the ANEMCAM AFTER WORK was held on Wednesday 29th May 2019 at the LEWAT hotel. Informing and training the actors of the informal sector, the main target of our micro-finance institutions, was the objective for the regional office of the national association of micro-finance institutions of Cameroon. This first outing was marked by the presence of the heads of traders' associations, heads of workers' associations of several private sector companies and heads of community associations. For the edified, one could appreciate the presence of several directors of micro-finance institutions who dealt with relevant topics such as:
1. How to recognize an accredited microfinance institution.
2. The importance and dangers of a bad guarantee.
3. Who is entitled to Loan and who is not?
This last thematic was presented by Mrs. Bernadette Simbafo Noubi, General Manager of SOFINA SA, who insisted on the fact that in principle, in an MFI, everyone is eligible for a loan, but only a few are entitled to it. The actors of the sector, their clients and prospects have agreed to meet at the microfinance pavilion during the 11th edition of the Christmas market event next December.
For its 10th + 1 edition, the Christmas market wants to offer a "Christmas of entrepreneurial opportunities" through the "microfinance pavilion". This platform will allow the promotion of the expertise and know-how of the microfinance sector in Cameroon. To enhance these interactions and promote the creation of added value for SMEs, SMIs, START-UPS and MFIs who will be present at this B to C and B to B event.
